Ivan Alexandrov

Ivan Alexandrov is the founder and CEO of the online retailer eBag. He completed his secondary education at the Hristo Botev School in Bratislava, Slovakia, and then enrolled in Applied Mathematics at the University of Plovdiv “Paisii Hilendarski”. Ivan began his professional career in the field of digital marketing in 2008. 6 years later, when he separated from the agency he worked for, he left behind a team of 50 people located in offices in Sofia, London and Bucharest. The next step in Ivan's biography is the creation of the online platform Capt'n Social.

In 2015, eBag was launched, which today is among the largest online retailers in Bulgaria and has a 70% market share in the segment of online supermarkets. eBag is among the fastest growing companies in Bulgaria and serves more than 100,000 households in Sofia, Plovdiv, Pernik, Pazardzhik, Blagoevgrad and Bansko.

The online retailer's portfolio includes over 15,000 high-quality products that cover the one-stop-shop concept. In one place, with just a few clicks, consumers find and order products from butcher shop, dairy, bakery, fruit and vegetable, pharmacy, everything necessary for cosmetic care, including medical cosmetics, products for the child, pet shop, home and office goods. Ivan Alexandrov is the winner of the Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2021 by Forbes Bulgaria magazine.
