Prof. Ruslan Penchev, PhD

Prof. Dr. Ruslan Penchev is Honorary Rector of the International Higher Business School. For more than 25 years he has been active in the field of e-learning and distance learning, developing training programs for different levels of education, and especially in the field of standards for quality assurance systems of educational technologies for distance learning (e-learning technologies). He was a member of the European Commission for Standardisation's Standardization Standard Development Team and Good Practice Guide for Quality Assurance Systems in e-Education (CEN/ISS/LVDB/2001082).

He has over 7 years of experience as a standardization expert in the world organization ISO/JTC1/SC22 and in the American Committee for Standardization ANSI X3J9 (USA) and more than 20 years of experience in project development and management consulting in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia.Chairman of the Management Board of the Bulgarian - Israeli Commercial Industry palace.

Member of the Honorary Board of the European Marketing and Management Association. Member of the Management Board of the International Project Management Association — Bulgaria Branch. Member of the American Academy of Management. Finalist of the World Bank Innovative Ideas Competition — Achievement Award. Honorary certificates from the Austrian Institute for Humanistic Management - HUman (Institute for Humanistic Management, Austria) for contribution to the introduction and popularization of humanistic ideas in the field of management in Bulgaria.
