Plamen Dimitrov has been President of the Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria from 2010 to the present. He is a full member of the Governing Board of the International Labour Organization and also Vice-Chair of the Workers' Group for the 109th Session of the ILO (2021). Mr. Dimitrov is Chairman of the Committee on Human and Trade Union Rights of the ICP. He is a member of the European Economic and Social Committee and Vice-President of the Workers' Group II and of the ECP IC, etc.
