Prof. Radostin Vazov, PhD

Prof. Dr. Radostin Vazov is a long-time lecturer in the disciplines: “Organization and financing of social security systems”, “Organization and financing of health insurance systems”, “Social management”, “Innovation and entrepreneurship”, “Innovative business models”, “Fundamentals of finance”, “Public finance”, “Corporate Finance, in English”, “Public Finance, in English”, “Venture Financing of Projects, in English” and “Strategic Management for Entrepreneurs” at the Graduate School of Insurance and Finance. He actively participates in the construction and validation of VUZF, holding the positions of “Executive Director”, “Head of Department of Insurance and Insurance”, “Deputy Rector for European Projects and Continuing Education”, “Head of Department of Business Administration and Management”.

Prof. Dr. Radostin Vazov is responsible for the development of the international activities of the University. As a result, joint undergraduate and graduate programmes with the University of Sheffield and joint programmes with banks, insurance and investment companies have been implemented. Radostin Vazov pays special attention to the master's program in Entrepreneurship, thanks to which successful start-ups by students have been realized. Another focus of his work is the development of doctoral programs, as a result of which doctoral students from India, Germany, Austria, Turkey, Ukraine, Poland, Macedonia, Slovakia, Albania and Kosovo have been attracted. Prof. Dr. Radostin Vazov is involved in the development and management of a number of European projects. He is a member of the editorial board of the magazine “Money and Culture”. Member of the editorial board of the magazine “VUZF review”. Member of the editorial board of the journal “Mathematics +”.
