About Sergi

Sergi is the founder of ShopUp (a consulting company in the field of e-commerce) has more than 14 years of experience in the field of Data Science, Machine Learning and AI applied in various businesses, such as IoT, finance, retail and e-commerce. For the last seven years he has been working on the implementation of various projects in which he applies Data Science, namely in the sectors of mobile tickets for public transport - Tickey, eCommerce - MaxCart and Catwing, in Retail - ShopUp Wifi, in robotics - Sens.ai and in email marketing - Decision Marketing in order to improve the overall experience of end users. He has more than 5 years as an Operations and Business Manager in large companies such as Experian and IngramMicro. He believes that science can be accessible and should be shared, he is a co-founder of the Data Science Society, as well as a mentor at Sofia and Technical University and a participant in the jury board for the selection of presenters for the AI Congress in Berlin and Vienna.
