Chris Zahariev is a young vlogger and director, born and raised in Sofia. For 6 years he has been developing his YouTube channel with more than 85,000 subscribers, which differs in the inspiring messages he communicates through it.He has worked on advertising campaigns with brands such as Visa, Lufthansa, Telenor, Discovery Channel, Jacobs and others. Creator of the web-series “Getting Lost on Purpose” - a documentary adventure among the most backward villages in Bulgaria, for which he won the “Awakener of the Year” award in 2018, as well as the award “Most Inspirational Person” from TOYP Bulgaria in 2019.
In 2020 he was nominated and won the prestigious award “Stoyan Kambarev: Flight in Art” for his short films and online projects. In September 2020, he represented Bulgaria as part of the youth jury at the Venice International Film Festival. As a director, his films have been nominated for numerous international festivals. He loves sunsets, BDZ and untold stories. He believes that young people are the future of Bulgaria and is ready to prove that there is a creative solution to any problem.
Whether as entrepreneurs, artists, or just people - we face problems of all kinds in our work and life on a daily basis. However, Chris strongly believes that there is a creative solution to every problem. Heg's work as a director, digital storyteller, vlogger and designer often consists precisely in finding a solution to a problem and building a bridge to it. In his session, Chris will share his personal experience of digital storytelling, youth audiences and non-standard solutions.
