Eng. Spasova has over 30 years of experience as a designer, project manager and consultant in the preparation and construction of international projects in the field of energy, infrastructure and public/residential buildings/business centers. She worked for 10 years as a designer, head of ODR, head of tenders and contracts and head of site at SMP Metal Structures. There he manages projects in Bulgaria, Israel, Serbia, Russia and Greece. In 1998 he started working at EQE as a POIS designer, consultant and FIDIC Contract Engineer at Kozloduy NPP. In 2000 he founded the subsidiary company IQI Control Ltd., licensed for design and construction supervision. The company, the only one in Bulgaria, was licensed for construction supervision of nuclear sites.

Eng. Spasova manages the consultancy services for the largest projects in Bulgaria: Galabovo Thermal Power Plant 600 MW (EUR 1.5 billion), Sveti Nikola Kavarna Wind Park 156 MW, the 176 m high skyscraper Europe Tower Sofia, Business Park Varna, 6 World Bank projects of GCPP.eng. Spasova has over 25 years of FIDIC experience: preparation of tender documentation; Resident Engineer/Engineer in projects related to nuclear safety/waste management/infrastructure funded by the EU; consultant in claims; expert in arbitration. She is now actively engaged in FIDIC consulting, dispute resolution and public outreach to disseminate good contract practices and facilitate the investment process. Since 2015, Eng. Spasova teaches future bachelors and masters in Project Management in Construction at UASG.

For the past few years he has been working as a key contracting and planning expert for the preparation of railway projects with a budget of over EUR 1 billion. As the only FIDIC accredited teacher with Bulgarian and Russian language since 2015, he has conducted more than 30 accredited trainings in Bulgaria, Russia, Ukraine, Tajikistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. She also conducts trainings in English in Nepal, Suriname, USA, Singapore and open trainings on the new FIDIC Academy platform.
