About Hristo

Hristo Kaftandzhiev is a Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor in the Department of Public Relations and Advertising of the Faculty of Journalism, Sofia University. He often teaches abroad marketing communications of various goods and services — arts, tourism; telecommunications; automobiles; beverages; financial services; fashion; education pharmaceuticals; airline services and others.He has specialized in the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Russia. He lived and taught for 3 years semiotics and advertising in Finland. He has lectured on advertising and marketing communications in numerous countries around the world. He has also been a speaker at 3 World Congresses of the IAA (International Advertising Association) — in Mexico, Egypt and Lebanon. He has also lectured at two world congresses on semiotics — in Mexico and in Germany. All its courses and seminars are highly visualized, dynamic and have the best of the world advertising practice. He is the author of many scientific articles on advertising and semiotics. He has published 10 books, 8 of which have been published abroad. Hristo Kaftandzhiev was a member of the jury of the New York Advertising Festival (The New York Festivals) and the Digital Communication Awards, Germany. He is also an honorary professor of the Russian-American Academy of Authorized Education. He is now a member of the jury of Superbrands, Bulgaria.
