Prof. Silvia Ilieva is also Director of GATE Institute and Professor at the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics at Sofia University “St. Cl. Ohridski”. Her research interests are in the areas of software platforms, data management, software processes, software engineering for artificial intelligence.prof. Ilieva has been the team leader for the development of the Bachelor's and Master's program Software Engineering in accordance with the recommendations of ACM/IEEE and the head of more than 200 master's theses. She has successfully participated in more than 20 European research projects.
