Prof. Ph.D. Lubomir Stoykov taught at UNSS, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski “, the National Academy of Arts and the School “P. Hilendarski”. His scientific and creative interests include culture, media, fashion design, fashion theory, fashion marketing, lifestyle journalism, business communication, public relations, political communication, image making, and more. He is the author of 20 scientific and journalistic books. He has trained thousands of students, graduates and PhD students in journalism, fashion design, business communication, public relations and more. He has written and hosted dozens of documentary correspondences from New York, Paris, London, Milan, Rome, Toronto, Moscow, Cape Town, Shanghai, Barcelona, Athens, Vienna, Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, Heidelberg and more. Founder and honorary president of the Bulgarian Academic Association for Communications (BAAC). Co-founder and president of the Zamoda Academy. He is a member of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria and the Union of Bulgarian Journalists. He is also a member of the American Society for Public Relations (PRSA), the Metropolitan Museum (New York), the European Communication Research and Education Association (ECREA) in Brussels, and the International Association for Media and Communication Research (IAMCR) in Paris.
He has interviewed more than 100 world celebrities in the fields of culture, fashion, cinema and pop music, such as Paco Rabanne, Pierre Carden, Alexander McQueen, Kenzo, Oscar de la Renta, Uber de Givenchy and others. Chief editor of “Youth” magazine (1985 — 1989) and “Moda” magazine (1997). Founder and editor-in-chief of the electronic magazines “Fashion Lifestyle Magazine”, “SmartFashion Media” and the theoretical online publication with the International College of Media and Public Communications. Creator, screenwriter and presenter of Bulgaria's first TV show about fashion — “Blyasak” — on BNT (1994); founder, author and host of the most popular style show on Nova TV — “Otigla do filets” (1995 — 2003) and others.
He is the winner of the “Golden Feather” awards of SBZ, Honorary sign “St. Kliment Ohridski “with a blue ribbon for contribution to the development of Bulgarian journalism and journalistic education, Honorary Badge of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria for significant contribution to Bulgarian culture, science and education, “Golden Age — Star” of the Ministry of Culture for contribution to culture and art, “Yellow Rose” of Zonta ClubSofia for contribution to improving the status of women around the world, Honorary plaque for contribution to building values in Bulgarian youth — from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, etc.
