Marius Donkin has been the director of the National Theater “Ivan Vazov” since 2016, when he was selected by a competition from the Ministry of Culture.He graduated from VITIZ “Krastyo Sarafov” with a specialty in acting for dramatic theater in the class of Professor Boyan Danovski in 1971. He began to play in the troupes of the Drama Theater in Plovdiv and the Sofia Theater. After 1979 he moved to the National Theater “Ivan Vazov”. Donkin starred in a number of films, productions, and also his voice is part of the voicing of various productions. She voices in the films released in Bulgaria by Multi Video Center, Bright Ideas, as well as in films and series for BNT and Nova Television.
