Lyubomira Velcheva

Lyubomira Velcheva is the Executive Director of the Duke of Edinburgh-Bulgaria International Award Foundation. It has been part of the foundation since its establishment in 2013. Its main role is to build the organization and its structures in the country as a program that supports young people to rediscover themselves, to set personal goals and, with the help of an experienced mentor and perseverance, to achieve them. He has experience in the selection, training, development and administration of personnel, in a large international company.Co-founder of the 9Academy initiative, a business academy whose goal is to build a community of professionals, entrepreneurs and like-minded people. Since 2017 she has also been part of the TEDxSofia team. Her interests are related to the development and promotion of non-formal learning as a tool for the development of young, conscious and active people.
