Karina Angeleva is Deputy Minister of Education and Science. She was an advisor in charge of European policies in the field of education and research at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Bulgaria to the EU. Participated in the preparation and successful organization of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU as head of the sector in Brussels.
Her previous positions include Chief Director of “Structural Funds and International Educational Programs” at the Ministry of Education and Science and Director of the Joint Innovation Center at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.Karina Angeleva has worked on a number of European projects and programs at Sofia University “St. Cl.Ohridski”, the Agency for Sustainable Development, etc. A long-time civil servant responsible for the coordination and participation of Bulgaria in the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
