Ivaylo Kalfin

Ivaylo Kalfin graduated from the 9th French High School in Sofia, then International Economic Relations at UNSS and International Banking at the University of Loughborough, UK. He has worked in both the private and public sectors, having been elected as a Member of Parliament, Member of the European Parliament, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Labour and Social Policy.

Since 2021, he has been Executive Director of the European Foundation for the Improvement of Living and Working Conditions (Eurofund), one of the oldest EU agencies, which studies employment trends, working conditions, quality of life, as well as industrial relations and the work of the social partners.
